[FFQE] Event Tab not showing/Event not active

Just updated my game to play the new Event but it wont even start. The event doesnt show up and isnt even being triggered in live mode. I have all mods disabled, repaired my game twice and created a new save file but it still wont trigger, please help!

I have tried absolutely everything including a full reinstall of the game and packs and the Forever Friends event will not show up i am at a loss as to what to do.  I have no cc or mods game is fully up to date but nothing has triggered the event. Please someone help!

 you have online social access or whatever it's called in your options checked ?

iMac - the last event had no tab next to the store on the start up page to click to start the event. the new forever friends event does Not have a tab to check next to the store on the start up page either. Has anyone had this same issue? and are there any fixes other than downloading a mod? Is it a "bug"? Is there a way to begin the event once the game has started? Thanks for any suggestions.

Also, don't worry too much about missing the event. I'm deeply sure they end up extending the period it's out for.

I have no other ideas to help you out. I play on console and the special events only appear after closing the game, installing the update and starting the game after a full close. Hopefully someone else can help.
