Game issues. Sims4

Started yesterday but I can't use the stairs in build mode (no script mod error shows up) and I'm also not able to go back into play mode, won't save and freezes . I've moved mods, repaired the game. But nothing helps. Wondering if there are similar issues and Its EA? 

EDIT: only happens with one lot so far. 

Also not really tech-savy. Hoping for a miracle 😅
