Game keeps freezing AND saying gallery is corrupt.

I reinstalled the sims 4 after having uninstalled it for space problems (everything is fine now, so I know space isn't a problem), and it's been since December that I played. I installed cc and mc command center then opened the game. When I was done in CAS, I went to save my family, and it froze at that screen. I removed the command center after restarting, same thing happened. I removed cc overall, and it still happened again. Even with just the game by itself it's doing it, so I know it's not mods/cc. Everything was running smoothly UNTIL I went to save my family. 

Another problem I'm coming across is the gallery being corrupted. Every single thing on the gallery shows as corrupt, including my own creations. I went through the same steps as I did with the saving family problem. 

I am not thinking it's a problem with my mods or cc because it is creators I have used before numerous times in the past without a problem.
