game not loading

My game is flat out not loading story mode. I took out all my mods and waited for twenty minutes and it still never loaded. I can go into build mode with no problem. Cas takes a while to load but it still will eventually. But yeah I'm completely incapable of playing the game and this goes for every save file I have because I made a new one to do the reaper rewards. It worked for a little bit but after about an hour of game play my sim stopped moving, I saved and exited and I haven't been able to get it to load since.

    Factory Reset

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. 
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
