This happened before. But why does it take the Grim Reaper 2 or more hours of my time to reap a soul? And why can't I get out or save my game during a Sim's death?
I am still waiting for the Grim Reaper to reap a soul that my werewolf killed.
I do us mods, but I am wondering if this is also a bug.
I had the same issue and while I don't have a fix I have found a work-around.
Shift and click on Grim to get his cheat menu.
Add Grim to the current family.
This should automatically make the dying Sim into an urn/grave and you'll get a pop-up about their inventory.
Obviously this means sims can't plead and the sim is automatically reaped rather than through gameplay, but as long as you don't want the sim to live then this should work.
