Grim Reaper Won’t Reap!

Help!!!!! Recently the grim reaper showed up to get my two main sims. First the wife and I made the husband plead for her life. It bought her a couple more hours until he came back again. Then it was the husbands turn and again I pleaded for his life wife the ghost wife. It bought him a couple of more hours except the grim reaper never leaves the house. None of my sims were able to intersect with him, not just grayed out interactions, no interactions at all not even clickable. Then I made the husband and ghost wife woohoo one last time and then he went to bed. when he wakes up he wakes up to die of elderly demise. He waves at me falls down and his spirt starts to leave his body but the grim reaper doesn’t move. He is stuck where he is. I can’t cancel the elderly demise action. He can’t do any other action and when I click the grim reaper with another sim it says you can’t plead before the reaping lest you be reaped. Cannot go into build mode, save , or manage households! I’m sad please help !
