@ducharme629 Go into build mode and double check that the house is marked as a haunted residential lot. When I installed the lot that came with the game over an existing house it installed as residential and I had to change it to haunted residential. I'm not sure but perhaps any house you download from the gallery will install as residential and may need to be changed to haunted residential as well.
