I know some people are saying that the event didn't start yet, but all the screenshots say the award can be picked up on 29th after 11AM which is well past that time. And it simply is not appearing in my game in any form of pop up or whatever.
Times for TS4 events are usually based on the Pacific Time zone and that's only about 8:45 a.m. right now.
I just signed into the game, repaired it (I updated yesterday) and there's nothing. It's apparently noon PST.
I haven't gotten the dialogue box either, and I'm really frustrated I can't get the free content. I have invested over 6000 hours, and for the free content release to not work? Come on now.
I'm having the same problem! I signed in yesterday twice and got nothing. Signed in today and get nothing still! It's currently 3:15pm where I am (east coast US), and normally sims drops happen at 1pm my time. I even go into build/buy and filter by the event rewards, and it says no results found. I've seen youtubers talking about getting the popup, so I don't get why we're all having so much trouble. I just hope we don't miss out on everything because I think I can speak for most, if not all of us, when I say we've invested a TON of money and time into this game. We shouldn't be cheated out of the free rewards things. Ugh. I just hope they figure it out or make an announcement or something! Even if the event isn't live yet, I don't understand why some people have it (and have screens saying they need to claim things by the 29th) and so many of us aren't getting that. I wish I could pretend to not be frustrated by this ☹️
I havent gotten the pop ups either, but I was able to find them in build/buy mode. When you filter by event rewards you have to be in the items section, selected show all and then filter by event rewards and then select every single color. We shouldnt have to do that though it should just work the way its intended to work. Im frustrated because theres nothing announced anywhere that can tell us anything on when it will go live. The leaks just tell us what the rewards are and how to collect them. I even saw one that showed a hidden video on the sims youtube channel that has a tutorial on the rewards but its not live on their page so im assuming until that goes live the event isnt live either.
