@Gemma_Maree17 That Mac should be able to run the Legacy Edition of the game but not the current version. You will not be able to play any DLC released since Realm of Magic which was in October 2019. This means no new content at all in patches, no online gallery, no packs from the last 2.5 years and no future content. MAC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM SPECS:
OS: Metal required. Mac OS® X 10.11 (El Capitan)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz Processor or better
RAM: At least 4 GB RAM
HARD DRIVE: At least 15 GB of free space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games
VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680, AMD Radeon RX 560 or better
INPUT: Keyboard and Mouse
ONLINE REQUIREMENTS: Internet connection required for product activation.

RECOMMENDED SPECS:
OS: Mac OS® X 10.11 or later
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5 or better

@Bluebellflora @EA_Darko Other then a Mac can you recommend any laptops under 500 nz dollars that will be fully capable of running the sims 4 and expansions. I haven’t played for about 2 years so wanting to get back into it
