Help 😳
Hey can anyone tell me if the spec’s copied and pasted below for an Apple MacBook Pro 2011 laptop will run the sims 4 and expansions without issue
I need to purchase asap but don’t want to run the risk of not being able to play the base game and expansions

That Mac should be able to run the Legacy Edition of the game but not the current version. You will not be able to play any DLC released since Realm of Magic which was in October 2019. This means no new content at all in patches, no online gallery, no packs from the last 2.5 years and no future content. For further info on the Legacy Edition of the game for Macs, see this FAQ - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/The-Sims-4-Mac-Legacy-Edition-thread/m-p/8420037#M22694
We actually have a Mac specific Sims 4 forum here at Answers HQ which you may find useful for any future queries you have 🙂 https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/bd-p/The-Sims-Mac
