Hidden Mess!

@KushKylie, thanks for checking your Sims' inventories!🙂  Also, since there was a fire, there might still be a piece of burnt floor that is hidden by something else. 🤨 Depending on the color of the floor, it might not be noticeable to you,  (It could also be a burnt shelf or curtain, etc. that you normally don't see with the walls down or partially down. 🤔  There also might be a little bit of hidden ash stuck somewhere, but more likely it is a charred spot of flooring, etc. 😉

Burned spots can be a factor if a fire had ever started.

@burin077, yes, and some floor colors/patterns hide burnt spots better than others.😃  But I'm shocked at how often the burnt spot was hidden by a counter, stove, dryer, etc.! 🤨 No matter how often you direct them to clean it, its impossible for them to reach until you move whatever is over the burnt spot in Build/Buy Mode.  I don't know if this is @KushKylie 's problem since they said they dismantled the room, but it is worth a try! 😉

IT WAS THE FISH TANK!! I moved my vampire family out of that penthouse, and into the cute smaller one with the pool on the ground floor. (I didn’t even know it was there til I went looking for a classy apartment), and everything was fine...

until I turned Vlad into a ghost cause he was annoying me with how he STILL makes everyone negative with that darn hissing he does, despite having the friendly vampire aspiration trait, and no hissing vampire trait : he’s a bugged out Vamp- still reacts negatively to his wife romantically interacting with others despite having the player trait (on everyone including Vlad)

ANYWAY- I went to go make Ambrosia cake for when I wanna revive him, so I had to get into build mode and deposit my fish tank which had the spare angel fish in it, as well as two Koi and a vampire squid. 

Suddenly, everyone starts getting the uncomfortable trash moodlet again, and there’s still no obvious trash. So I remove the fish tank, I had a sneaking suspicion... next thing I know, their negative moodlet is GONE UUUUUGH! 

Ive never had a trash moodlet around a fish tank, despite putting “foul” fish in them before. 

Do you think it could be the vampire squid? I’ll have to experiment... 

@KushKylie, thanks for replying!!! 🙂  How interesting! 🤓  I don't think I've ever put a foul fish in the fish tank before, so I can't really say...🤔  Perhaps they changed it in one of the updates? 🤔  I don't think it would matter which species of fish it was if all of them were foul.  I have never read of  or experienced a fish that was automatically foul when you caught it . 🤒  At least you now know what was the cause! :eahigh_file:  I might have to try that out! 😃

@PugLove888 I’ll have to double check once this date is over, but I’m sure they’re all foul. They were all caught and placed in the fish tank around the same time. 

@KushKylie, thanks! 😇  While there is no hurry, after all this time trying to figure out what was causing the stink, I now want to know everything! 😳😃 🤓

Did you happen to store the fish in your inventory or the fridge before adding them to your tank?  How long after catching them did you add them to the tank? 🤔
