Ive been having issues with sims 4, ive made several save files and i havent been able to use romantic interactions on any of them!! I never sat through a tutorial screen so i did that just in case and i couldnt even do romantic interactions during any stage of the tutorial either. ive checked my cache files in documents and they are empty. can anyone help? this is beginning to be a huge problem.
Is the Romantic category missing when you select More Options? If so what are their relationship.
You can't do Romantic interactions during the tutorial. The entire Romantic menu is disabled until the tutorial is completed.
I don't know what would be preventing Romantic interactions when you aren't in the tutorial. They should be available for Teens with most other Teens, unless the Teens are related. They should also be available for Sims who are Young Adult or older with most other Sims who are Young Adult or older, unless the two Sims are related. There might be some special Sims with limited interactions that don't allow romance but I expect you've tried with enough other Sims to eliminate that possibility.
@KingOfSlN Please make sure that you are not in the tutorial (as @Sketch793 mentioned) and read this article to see if it has any helpful information you were unaware of: http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/relationships/romance.php If that is still no help and the interactions are not there, I would recommend running a game repair. [ Open Origin, click 'Game Library' then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game ]
....But if you have mods or cc, that could be causing a glitch, as many mods and cc were broken by a recent patch (the one right before Get Famous was released. The first thing to try would be to remove all of those and see if it fixes the issue, then if it doesn't, try the game repair.
