In-Game Refresh Rate
I have a quick question. I just bought a new gaming desktop and I was playing on a gaming laptop and had my settings on windowed full screen as suggested so I could access my desktop need be. I have a gaming monitor now with 144hz refresh rate and I see that when selecting windowed full screen the options gray out to default. Does anyone know what to default rate is? I’m just curious. I don’t know if I should continue with my new PC in windowed full screen or use full screen and select the 144hz.
@candiecoatediv Right-click on your desktop and select the Nvidia Control Panel, then Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings. Choose ts4_x64.exe from the dropdown menu, scroll down to Max Frame Rate, set it to On, enter 144 as the limit, and click Apply.
You can see your in-game framerates with the cheat fps on ; the number will appear in the lower left corner of your screen, above the UI. The cheat fps off makes the number disappear.
