Infant/Toddler has no sound

My main sim family has a toddler who makes zero noises. They make the motions of talking/babbling, but there is no sound. This also happened when they were infants. I have checked other households, a...

    Yes. I believe the sim was bugged. I ended up making her a 'twin' and then cheated all relevant milestones, relationships and skills. The 'twin' had sound so I ended up deleting the OG and everything is fine now.
