Issues with infants 1) appears off lot 2) not working

1. Infants in my game keep appearing off the lot, off the playmat and outside when I reload onto my household lot after travelling or opening the game.
2. Infants keep getting neglected. I will click on simple commands like "bathe X" or "put X to bed" and the adult sim just stands there for hours not moving. I have tried to do it multiple ways but it dosent change. It ends up with me having to cheat their need just to avoid them getting taken away.

Mac-user. No mods or CC.
