Issues with milestones, bottles, diapers and dishes

I started playing with my sims today and I noticed some issues like can't drag bottles, diapers and dishes to the sink or garbage when dirty and my sims weren't keeping up so I got them a maid to help out. Also I play with the Get To Work and Growing Together packs and I noticed when my alien baby aged up to infant and worked on trying with an adult sim to achieve milestones, they wouldn't register achieved but stay in a loop. So now I decided to uninstall the Growing Together pack. I hope it will get fixed soon and undecided if reinstalling the Growing Together pack and using a mod to cheat the milestones.
