@RandomBuzziness, good idea! 💡🙌 Eliza always is at my gym too and for no obvious reason! Athletic types I could understand, but not her! 😃 I do know that when you play a Sim, they choose to do more of what you have them do. So a non-artistic Sim will want to paint more and more if you have them paint a few times. I just didn't expect that to happen with a Sim I haven't played (even if she has skill points)! 🤨
(I have played her and her household in their own Save Game, but I almost never play rotationally, so in all my other games she hasn't been played; therefore, the only reason for her to by always at the gym is her fitness skill points! )
Sorry guys, but I have to laugh since this happens all the time in my game and I swear that the game deliberately causes the sims I want to be a certain way to either pig out at the vendor stalls or live in the gym. Really frustrating at times but it's nice to see I'm not the only one.
What I have noticed and thought I would share is that in my save, the sims that keep showing up at the gym seem to be the ones in households that I played recently. Not necessarily the ones in the previous household, but those a couple of household before. Who comes and goes does seem to change over time. What gets me is the sims I want to see at the gym to keep their fitness level never seem to show up there. It's always seems to be the ones I don't want to work out. From what I have seen, there is no method to the madness. Traits and fitness levels don't seem to have much impact and I've pretty much written it off as just random. But the gym isn't any different than any other venue as far as I can see. It's always the married sims that show up at my bars, etc. and very few if any of my single sims when I'm trying to find a partner for a single as an example.

@CGrant56, but I still get Eliza all the time at the gym and I don't play rotationally, so while your example of seeing Sims you have recently played might be a factor in this, it isn't the only factor. 😉 But it is something to look out for, for those who do play rotationally.

@PugLove888 I agree wholeheartedly. There is certainly something in the game that causes it, but who knows what it may be. Probably several factors are involved. Eliza is still in my game as a playable but I rarely see her anywhere anymore, like a lot of my older sims, but early on in my current save, she was always at the gym like you and others here are seeing. It's been a while since I played that household but it may be because she's a vampire now. I'm not sure about that since I routinely see other vampires as well as other occults at the gym. Celebrities too. For a while, Judith Ward was just as bad about it as Eliza but I don't see her at the gym anymore and when I see her elsewhere, she's somewhat fuller figured now so she's definitely not exercising now.

Every time I add a new EP I gain a few more members of the permanent NPC gym crowd. Pretty soon I am going to need bigger gyms! One weird thing I've noticed about Eliza Pancakes is that no matter how much she works out at the gym, she never changes in appearance. All of the other NPC gym rats in my game look super buff but Eliza never seems to gain any muscles at all! I used testingcheats one time to add her to my household and the cas.fulleditmode cheat to check her sliders in CAS and they were somewhere near the middle. Is this just my games or is anyone else seeing this too? I realize that some of those NPCs were very buff to start with but I have definitely seen others that gain muscle/lose weight over time until they are at the extremes on both sliders.
