Kicked back to worlds screen when trying to play

im having the same issue, it seems to be a mod issue for me as it works when i turn them off. what script mods do you have?? im hoping to narrow it down 

Same problem. MODs are switched off and I'm trying to play on my vanilla game. Goes to worlds, I click on householde and after the plumbob it circles back to worlds screen!  What is happening?  

It might be the career scripts?? I took all my Custom Careers out of my game and I was finally able to load my household!! You could try that? to narrow it down I had; 

 -BosseladyTV -CosmicZephyrus -KiaraSims4Mods -marlynsims -NC4T_ItsKatato -SWH_complaint -TURBODRIVER_UnlimitedJobsPlus, if you also have any of those careers above you could try removing them and see if it works :)

Try the following

• Close the game
• Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
• Repair the game
• Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. 
• Start a new save game
• Check if you still have the error
• Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
