latest base game update not showing up, help?!

I wanted "for rent" out of my game so I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. The latest Update isn't showing up. None of the items that I did have with the update before uninstalling are there. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice now. I've cleaned out cache both the APP and the folder. I have the newest delivery system, I've tried repairing the game several times, I even took my CC and Mods out. Nothing is working. Does anyone have an answer? how do I get the update back???

Hi sevenclevertitle you mean you didn't get the SDX ? Do you have any files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\content ?

If so, try moving the whole folder to the desktop and redownloading the SDX.

I figured it out! Everytime I’d move it, the game would automatically start downloading the packs I didn’t want downloaded. When that message popped up so did the message to accept the new delivery system and update. I got overwhelmed and stopped everything. Including the new update and delivery system. So ultimately you were right! I just got overwhelmed by the pop ups lol
