I have this problem as well since I bought the pack. With or without mods. Ghost being reincarnated or not. I am on a Mac M1. It's super annoying!
Edit: I just tested it again without mods in a brand new save and the difference is definitely in whether the ghost has gone to the Netherworld forever or still around. Still around: happy "fond memories" moodlet. Released/gone to Netherworld: angry moodlet.
