Married sims won't sleep in one bed (new)

Before I say anything, yes I am aware there is a similar thread but the solution does not work for me.

Anyway, I want them to sleep in a double bed together but they always say the other person is using the bed,

I even removed all the furniture in the room and still the same,

I moved the bed to outside the house where there's lots of space, still the same,

I changed the bed, still the same.

When I tried to get the kid to sleep on the bed with the parent there is no problem though.
