More roof options

I'm an avid builder, made many houses in my time, but as my skill progresses I've never fully understood roofing, if you make a simple square shaped house with square add on bits, it's easy to roof, however, trying to roof a diagonal wall or rounded wall, or for me, anything that isn't a perfect square I can never get the roof to cover it fully. I should probably add pictures but I'm not near my console at the moment, just a random thought but looking at the local buildings where I am, why is covering a triangular point so difficult? An I missing something basic or do we need more roof options

    @cbarber89 Honestly, a large part of how I do roofs is by looking at the shapes of roofs on buildings all around me and just trying to copy some of the styles. Of course most houses I’ve seen don’t have a triangular point?

    But I would also recommend you check YouTube for Sims roof building tutorials. Lilsimsie made a good one about a year ago.

    I need to take a picture of my build to full explain, but there are some angles with which it's nearly impossible to cover with the roofs available 🙂
