Sims don’t age while pregnant. So if Kaori was roughly a day older and eventually became around four days younger… I’m guessing two pregnancies?
As for the career… did you get any calls from her about changing careers or trying for a promotion before she joined the household? Or use the “ask to pursue dream job” social interaction?
Oh! Well, that explains her age, since she did have a child. I can't explain the job though.
