My Sims 4 household won’t load!

Hey everyone, I’m having an issue. 2 days ago I finally updated my sims 4. I’ve been holding off because I’ve seen others running into issues after the update. Unfortunately I’ve become a victim. After updating my game, I can log in and see my household but when I click to play it goes to the loading screen then goes right back to the previous page. The game never loads.. HELP. I’ve uninstalled the app, did the “repair” option, checked and updated all the mods I use. Removed the mods folder and that didn’t work either. I even created a new sim and I can’t play the household. Is this happening to others?

    The same thing is happening to me with the game, after I did the last update it doesn't load the game, I can enter the main menu and you can see the household but when you click the family you want to play, it loads and goes back to the map, I already tried creating a new family and it does the same, and I also did the "repair" option and nothing.

    YES!!!!!!!! This same issue is happening to me. I did just about everything, but now all of my households are gone 😀 I'm currently crashing out big time. I have no idea what I did. But yes, the loading screen issue is happening to a lot of people. Even when I removed my mods and played like normal, my game was still messed up. Maybe it's an actual base-game issue.

    I give up trying to fix it. 🙂
