My sims were on vacation when I downloaded the update, and when I tried to resume my game it goes into the infinite loading screen. So I went back and recovered one of my saves and it loaded, but when I tried to go on vacation again it won't load, any of my vacation houses. Also the same thing happens when I try to build/buy on world editor only on the vacation rental lots.
skpowis Are there any lot challenges, e.g. Off the Grid, active on these vacation lots? If so, please remove them and test again.
If that doesn't help, please try a different vacation lot with a default EA house (nothing from the Gallery) and no lot traits or challenges.
The vacation houses I have all came off the gallery and they do not have any lot challenges on them. I did just go and try to put one of your houses as a vacation house and it let me go there.
skpowis Some Gallery lots are broken now and have been for months. Placing them unfurnished can help. If you want to experiment a bit, you can save these to your own library and place them unfurnished, on their original lots and new ones.
If the houses are broken how come they were working before the update? My sims were staying in the house before the update and it was working fine.
skpowis The update changed a lot of things behind the scenes. I don't know for sure that these lots are broken now, and I definitely don't know how they're broken, but it's still worth investigating.
Sorry that took me a minute but I think it's some of the world's you can't vacation in anymore it does not matter if they are your houses or ones from the gallery. It's broken in San Myshuno, Del Sol Valley, Sulani, Glimmerbrook, Mt Komorebi (I even tried going to the vacation lots you guys built there and they don't work). I don't have Henford on Bagley, Moon wood Mill, Tomarang or the star wars one so I don't know about them but the other worlds seem to be working
Did you also test a new save game and do you have the same issues there ?
I just did a new game and I am not having the same issues.
