New update not working

Question

Hello!i am having issues with the new skin shine, that came with the latest update. I can find it in CAS but it does not show on sims. In CAS nor the gameplay. I tried to remove all my mods and try again still not working. I even started a new save file. I repaired the game aswell and still it does not show. I was so excited and I am so sad it does not show on my sims. i tried to modify the shine and it does nothing. I have also tried to modify my graphics to highest.what to do?

i have the same problem. i’m playing on ultra settings, in a new save, with no mods. i also did reset my sims 4 folder and still having the issue

Try resetting your sims 4 folder, and testing in a new save game without putting back any of your data in the sims 4 folder and see if the issue remains.

I am also having the same issue and uninstalled and reinstalled everything and nothing seemed to work. Also I am having kinda the same issue with the lip glosses showing up as glossy now since they added the skin shine. Nothing is glossy they just look the same as the matte version's, is anyone else having this problem ?&nbsp;

Are you also playing on ultra ? Laptop Mode ?
