No Manure Generated

I've been playing Chestnut Ridge recently, and the horses are not producing manure. I tell them to eat and they do, but they never pooped. I've played three different families now (each for a week) and none of the horses pooped for that period of time.

Also, the horse bed says it's "already clean" and didn't get dirty once for the whole week.

I think there was a bug about this shortly after Horse Ranch came out and it was fixed for a while, but now it seems to be back. I thought I would ask here if maybe I'm doing something wrong, before making a bug report.
