No mods or cc. Game broken

I have no MODS of CC. I happened to download all the packs around the time of the update. I have three expansions packs and 4 kits and stuff. I did open an existing save right after I downloaded all the packs and the update  I’ve learned that was bad to do  after finally playing a new game. I’ve noticed the characters are ALL different names! Agnes was named Carter and almost everyone’s name was random even the creature keeper was a random NPC and one NPC was named “new start” I’ve never touched not in world households. Also there were two agnes in my game which was how I found all the NPC were messed up because one Agnes was in there but under a random name. Glitches started to happen- not let me fertilizer crops (it needed to be fertilizer so I clicked fertilize crops and it’d take the fertilizer out of my inventory. She’d fertilize it then it appear back in my inventory and it was still depleted), put things in my inventory, click on bartenders for tasks just shows like it’s a random NPC not even an option to buy drinks (cottage living).

 I play on a Mac and I have ALOT of storage. Specifically cleared out so I can play this game with no worries. It ran completely fine before the update/packs. I played the base game no issues. I have tried EVERYTHING. Even going so far as completing deleting sims and ea off my computer losing all of my progress in worlds hoping it’ll get rid of these problems. But when I reinstall the EA app and sims it has me still logged in like it was never fully deleted off my computer and the SIM glitch is still there! The sim names randomize but “new start” is still there and agnes has a different name now “lot”. I’ve spent hours resetting, researching and even clearing caches. But it’s kept me signed in whenever I reinstall the EA app. I’ve even disconnected my iCloud from accessing the website because I thought it was a iCloud issue saving the corrupted data and pushing it back once installed again. Does this sound familiar?? HELP PLEASE :(
