Not able to play
I am only allowed to play the game for a few minutes before my sim freezes and even resetting them doesn't work. Then I get a error message saying match making service failed. I just spent 40 dollars...

Are you using mods or not ? You choose both no Mods and no mods/cc ?
The matchmaking LE has a bug report here: LastException: matchmaking_service failed
The freezing can have many issues so first step would be to try without mods/cc if you have any.
