I removed my mods folder and started a new game after I repaired it, but it's still just freezing every time I try to upload a creation to the gallery, no matter if it's a big build or not. It just gets stuck on the uploading screen forever until I go to task manager and exit the game. It's not a matter of being impatient as I have waited for a long time and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Whenever I try to upload a build to gallery, it get's stuck on 'loading' it. And I have to shut down the game, from task manager. As it completely freezes the game.

For me, it only started to happen since the first update around the time of Lovestruck being released. Been happening for a while now, I can't upload to gallery. All my new builds get stuck on loading screen and I have to use task manager to get out of it. I was supposed to have a "case" about this with EA, but it's listed as "fixed" when it is not. Pretty much the only reason I play is because I build and upload my builds. So this is obviously problematic. I have tried many things: uninstalling and reinstalling my game, renaming my tray folder, deleting mods and cc (which was the first thing I tried), starting a brand new game, making smaller builds, I mean everything I could think of. The problem has to be with the gallery itself, in my game. Unless there's something I haven't tried?

For me, it's been a while (since the first update around the time that Lovestruck came out) since the gallery would let me upload to the gallery. I love this game and play it everyday and this gallery issue is new, but very problematic. I have all the expansions and every pack or kit that has a build object in it, so I have spent a lot of money on this game. I have deleted mods and cc, started a new game, renamed my tray folder, uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game, and even heard that changing my avatar might somehow magically work, so yes, I even did that. I have NO idea how to fix this, it's obviously a problem with the gallery in my game but then how would I be able to fix it? Any suggestions would be amazing as I will try anything at this point.

I also can't upload anything anymore since yesterday ☹️ a few days before I was able to upload something but since yesterday not anymore. Same thing, stuck on the loading screen and I waited for as long as fifteen minutes for an upload that's supposed to last only a few seconds, and it remained stuck so I forced the game to terminate with task manager.I have zero mods and I don't have that many expansion packs either, all from before 2020.

Also, when trying to share it to the gallery directly from my library I get stuck on a spinning loading screen and have to force quit my game

Hi @haileywilkins , if this is still happening can you follow those steps to start with a clean game and see if you're able to add builds or sims to the Gallery https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163 ?

Hi @ambrosaaaa , are you able to uploading individual rooms for the house I wonder? If so, that could indicate that the size is still a bit too big to be uploaded.

Non of my builds will upload to the gallery or my library. Yet I can upload sims (households). A pop up message comes up saying “there was an error uploading to the library” regardless of if I select library or gallery upload. I play on a Mac and I don’t use cc or mods.
Theres been many updates and neither of them have solved this issue.
Is it a EA issue or am I doing something wrong?
Could anyone please help me work around this issue?

Hi, Yes I can upload individual rooms. The file size says 8 MB, I thought the limit was 10?

I even deleted a bunch of stuff to lower the file size to 5 MB and it still doesn’t work

I cannot upload my build to the gallery on PS5. I have internet connection and no mods on console. Have tried restarting, it only saves to my library.

After building on a lot or making a room, when I try to upload to the gallery, all I get is the spinning wheel. The only way out is a forced stop. This has been going on for more than a week. I am not the only one having this issue. Please help!
