I hope this post isn't reported, because it will sound like censorship.
A few weeks ago, I have started a petition asking EA to be more transparent about The Sims 4 bugs and glitches. It surpassed 9,600 signatures for now. I hope EA considers doing something.

Heya!
As you may have seen, today we created a new Twitter account to more efficiently communicate around trending issues with The Sims 4.
You can find it right here.
- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@EA_Cade That's great that that's going to happen, thanks for letting us know. Could those posts be relayed to us on here too for those of us that don't use Twitter please? I don't use social media and I know some others don't either so if there could be a recap on here that would be great if that's not cheeky of me to ask. Thanks.

Hello.
I appreciate your efforts to be more transparent. However, it would be even more appreciated if the Team made a statement about why the game is at the current status and also keep their word of fixing the bugs.
I'm still letting the petition open until Maxis Team do both. BTW, it surpassed 13,000 signatures now.
Thank you for your time.

Not much update related to any old bug fixes ...
Just saw another EA game got big discount and there is an announcement coming in October.
Hope EA is not selling itself to a company, who loves to turn all game model to a mobile game charging model like selling crown or monthly pass, it will simply kill all game series...

With respect, I'm not personally finding the Twitter side bar here any more informative. I'm not on Twitter and have no intention of joining. I feel like those discussions belong here. I don't see anything telling me when I'll be able to load my game without crashing or when graphics will finally be optimised for next gen consoles.
On here, some threads are just going on for years and we are still posting for help but engagement has stopped it seems. I'm feeling like it's gone backwards in terms of transparency and engagement. As an example, threads on crashing and console technical threads. We've got players using the word unplayable but we're not getting help.
So we need this transparency more than ever.
I also wonder, are discussions about Sims 5 going on with players on Twitter? Because I'm seeing some pretty left field ideas in the media about the future direction of the franchise and I don't see the players voices in those ideas. But of course, it's the creator's product and it's their prerogative to do with it as they see fit.
- 3 years ago@EA_Cade Please can we have an update on the teams progress on fixing the mean bug? Ive asked about it on both twitter accounts too but no reply...sims direct communications is supposed to have 'live service updates' but has not yet acknowledged that many players cannot play AGAIN ATM...
