It just takes a while to get a perfect plant. There are some things that speed it up, but unless you have a golden chicken or drink golden milk, there aren’t instant perfect plants.
Things that help:
1. The cost of the things you fertilize with matters! The best fertilizer is over $50. A cost-effective way to get fertilizer worth $50 is to level fishing, but if you have nice roses in your garden they’ll also do. Don’t spend thousands or whatever, there’s no additional benefit to overshooting $50. If you don’t have $50 items, shoot for $25. That’s the second-best tier.
2. You can only fertilize once a week, but bees fertilize plants next to them constantly. I think it’s like five build squares around them. Put a bee box in the middle of your garden.
3. Green Eco Footprint makes plants grow better. I was off the grid in a tiny house in HoB and it went green pretty quickly.
4. The tiny and micro home lot traits give double plant growth. I don’t know for sure that this makes them evolve faster, but my impression is that it helps.
5. The great soil lot trait is also useful.
Thing that hurts: absorbing solar energy from the plant. Pick a couple that are your dedicated Solar snacks and leave the prize one alone.
All that said, if you have Cottage Living, you can scope out the stalls and befriend birds and rabbits in hopes of finding golden something. 😀 Golden Chickens upgrade all your plants to perfect, and if you eat a golden egg or drink golden milk, you can do it, too, with the Golden Pulse ability.
Good luck!
