please add online player, so me and a friend can enter each others houses

Please add this feature where me and my friend can enter each others worlds and houses so we can create worlds together, everything else has moved on with the times of multiplayer online, we spend a lot of time on online multiplayer games and don't spend much time on sims because we cant play together. Please work on an online portal so we can spend more time on your games, time is limited when normal everyday life is in play so we would really appreciate investing more time into your games and being able to play together from different devices.

    The Sims Online was released in December 2002 and was not as successful as expected.
    There was also an experiment (of sorts) with sending Sims into other players games in 2012 The Sims 3: Showtime.
    The idea was to send an entertainer to perform an act then return home. There was no ability to freely roam thru the other players game.
    My point is yes some players would find this an interesting option. There just does not seem to be a direction planned for the current game version.
    Perhaps at some point there will be a variation of The Sims that will include a multiplayer option but not in the near future.
