Questions about Turn Ons & Turn Offs

1) For hair color, which hair colors correspond to Brown vs. Auburn vs. Red?

2) For the skill-based turn ons/turn offs, how exactly does this work?? Does the skill level matter? I really hope it does, since otherwise these are mostly useless… for example, most sims that have lived at least a few days in game have the cooking, charisma, comedy, and fitness skills at minimum. I can’t imagine that skill level 1 is treated the same as skill level 10 but I’m afraid it’s possible this is the case.

  • Interesting question... I went ahead and dug in the tuning files. Here are the answers to the questions.

    1. Interesting question with the hair color part. Both Red and Auburn are only affected by 1 hair color while Brown is affected by 5 hair colors. I'll include the color chart under the answers.
    2. Skills on at least level 3 will count towards the skill-based attraction.
    3. Retirement and slacker... Hmm... It required a separate testing as tuning file only tells that there is a hidden retired career that gives your sim pension. After testing it out, it turns out that yes, retirement does count as unemployed for the Slacker attraction.

  • And 3) does retired count as being unemployed for the Slacker turn-on/off?

Would be super interested if anyone has dug into the tuning files for this!

@EgonVM Thanks a lot for the answers!

The red/auburn/orange hair colors are really different than I expected. And retirement counting for slacker…I’ll have to be careful for my elder sims 😳
