- crinrict2 years agoHero+@dukaslove The scratch folder is a temp folder that gets removed when you close the game. If the game crashes, it stays.
It does sound like a corrupted file. Do you have any backups ? - @crinrict
Pretty sure i am having the same issue...I saved my game earlier and continued to play. I went into change sim (I have 6), and it stopped working from then once i clicked the tick at the bottom right hand corner. I had force closed by game. Did all the steps, and found this. Hope i can get some help with this too. Everything is exactly as above comment. I dont, but I have onedrive, so technically everything is backed up....right? Im not super techy so I truly dont know.
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@dukaslove Depends. OneDrive usually synchronizes to so it might just be the same you have locally. The game might even use oneDrive.
Could you check which folder the game uses: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/
