If you have an old save game where the Sim is alive you can load that.

- I think I have only my first save with first generation, can I somehow retrieve my old saves? I know that in the game there is an option which allows you to retrieve some saves, but only the freshest ones.
Those you can retrieve are the only backups that exists.
