Hi @sim31984 !  You can also purchase medicine from the sim's phone.

Click the phone, click the household button, then click Purchase Gifts.

When the next menu opens, scroll down until you see the medicine bottle.  Then click the right arrow button to add however many you want.  Then click the check mark at the bottom.

After that, the medicine will be in your sim's inventory.  Click on the inventory, click on the medicine, click Take Medicine.
