Re: Only one actor can be in one world at a time (GF)

@jpkarlsen Thank you. Yes, you can follow them to work, but there's not options to prep for all tasks if you have more than one actor in the world, I've now got one actor in Del Sol and another in Sulani. It's not about the follow to work, it's about being able to get all options for prepping acting tasks. Ruining my game. I had to quit all but one actor in each household in each world. Definitely One actor, one world only. To reiterate, not to do with following to work, but prepping for tasks. But thanks for your time and reply. 🙂. I sussed it now. Will live with it.

To see what they need to do to prepare for a gig simply click the work tab. It will be listed there what they need to work on  Usually it will be things like get acting to a certain level or various skills to a specific level and so on. It is easy enough for all your acting Sims in a household to work at these tasks at the same time. If you have trouble working on a particular skill you are welcome to ask how to do it.

@jpkarlsen Thank you, but the problem is, if you have more than one actor in a world, not all the prep tasks will be available to perform, such as romance or horror. This stops me from choosing certain gigs, such as Melodies of the City for my level 10 actors. So now I have only one actor in Del Sol and another in Sulani and I'm trying to cope with rotational play. I got Get Famous so that all my 8 household sims can prep for all gigs and be able to play all gigs. I got an Easter egg badge a few days ago, and I'd been talking about this a lot, so I think this is a deliberate thing in the game where you can only have one actor per world. Probably nobody knows this, but I've been playing in all manner of ways and come to this conclusion. No problems with skills, all level 10 all have aspirations complete. been playing these families a long time. Just sad that I can't have them all in the acting career at once. I'll can only play them for a few sim weeks, quite their job and get another sim to join the career. Very, very odd, I think and quite an oversight on the game makers' part. At the moment, my two families in different worlds have one actor each and it's all working fine. I feel sad for the family that can't live in Del Sol because of this problem. They ought to be there by design. Get Famous, is demoting them no matter how hight their skills and established their fame is, to living in a wooden hut on stilts in Sulani, where all they can do in their spare time is hunt for rubbish, seashells or ride around on Jet Skis. They miss their celebrity lifestyle and I've given them countless new houses in Sulani, and got "poorly decorated" moodlets. So I'm thinking of having to go back to just one household, which are now at the top of their game, but I love them and don't want to lost them. Thank you for taking the time to talk to me about it. 🙂

I have no problems with this. Notice that when you click on the Sim you want to perform the scene with you may have to click on More options twice to see Perform Scene where you can select all scenes you want to rehearse.

BTW. To get rid of Poorly Decorated simply buy some better decorations.

@jpkarlsen I've tried clicking options twice but only get 3 of 5 options. Truly stumped. Thanks about the poorly decorated moodlets. The amount of times I've had to re-furnish and decorate a house before the sims like it! I have to add all get famous stuff. I guess they've been spoilt as celebrities! They expect all marble floors and velvet curtains, Queen Anne beds etc... :D. Thanks again for your time and help.

There are a total of 6 choices under perform scene depending on the level your sim has in the acting skill..

Both my Sims are level 10 acting and Global Superstars.

@jpkarlsen I only see 3 options (the top 3 in your pic) if I have more than one sim in the acting career, with just the one, I see a screen like you've shown.  All level 10 actors, Silverscreen Icons, Global Superstars who've been acting a long time notching up 250 awards between them.  Thanks for the pic and help.  Sorry there seems to be no remedy to this problem, so I got down to one actor and now have got him to quit, as they now live in Sulani and enjoy the lifestyle there, more than the city.  I'm actually finding it more fun to play.  Found them a nice mansion for a 50 x50 lot and they are loving it and getting new positive moodlets!  Cheers and have a great day! Do you have any Mods/CC? If so one of these are likely causing it. Notice that even if Mods are removed they may permanently have damaged a savegame.

@jpkarlsen Ahh, yes! Thanks! I'll have to test that and put my mods back in one by one on a new save game and see if I can have 8 actors again. Trouble is, I'll be sad to lose my legacy families, as when you re-download from the gallery, their relationships are broken. But thanks for the idea. For now they're living it up in Sulani and seem to be welcoming the break. 🙂
