Re: Sims 4 genetics issue

@KawaiiiDemon I would speculate there could be some of the following at play:

  • Move your Mods folder to your desktop then delete the localthumbcache.package file. Run a game repair. then restart Origin and the game and see if this has made a difference.
  • Is it possible that the effect on the already born children would not change but it would effect future children to have the mods gone?
  • Have you noticed whether or not what you are noticing is just a child thing? Have you compared their noses to those of various children in the game (say in the library or gallery - ones you have not played?
  • Have you played them until they became an adult to see if the nose becomes larger and more similar to the adult as they become an adult?

  • I tried what you said and it still won’t work.

I’ve aged the kids up the nose is still not the same.

Hmmm.... Did you try having new kids (after doing all of the repair, etc. stuff) with all fo the cc and mods out and see if it happens then? There should be some modifications from the parent noses anyway (otherwise they couldn't have that 'ugly to beauty' challenge, for instance). I never think that my kids in the game look all that much like the parents, at least certain of them. Anyway, if you have the mods or cc in the game either now or when you created the parents or had the kids, even after removing them it may have some effect on the ones created with it for a while, I would think. I will look into it a bit and re-add information if I find out anything further.
