Reaper career - "Has Plea" sim has left the lot!

The "has plea" sim (Katrina) has left the lot, and surrounding area, while trying to hear her plea for Dina's death. I can't move forward with the case! I'm not able to hear a plea from anyone else i...

This happened to me once; I just hung out at the lot until the day ended and made good progress in the career anyway. The other few times I've had the emotional death task it worked fine.
