Romantic satisfaction not going away

Romantic satisfaction does not go away after breaking up but I have found that if you go up on the romantic meter and then ask to just be friends instead of asking them to be romantic partners it does go away however this has stopped working for me as of recently so now I'm stuck with the sim feeling guilty, or thinking that they are cheating. This is very disappointing I really thought the lovestruck pack was gonna be my favorite. It has been THE WORST ONE YET!!!

    Hello, so I have good news. I was able to fix the problem. I made them a couple again and instead of asking to be just friends I broke up with them. This took of the satisfaction part and everything. I tested it again after they broke up by raising their romantic bar and asking to be friends again. And successfully it took off the romantic satisfaction part again. This seems to have solved it completely. Thank you again for your help and suggestions. I wanted to share my solution with you in case you ever need to direct someone over with the same issue

    @Gizale123 What platform are you playing ? Any mods/cc ?

    What happens if you ask to be just friends ? Do you no longer have the option ?

    I am on ps5 so no mods or anything. I tested it out this morning. I made both sims I was having trouble with getting rid of romantic satisfaction be romantic and getting satisfaction with other sims for the both of them. The romantic satisfaction went away for the other random sims but not for each other if that makes sense.

    When I ask to be just friends for the both I'm having trouble with the romantic bar goes down but romantic satisfaction still remains

    Hello, no Im not having any issues with romantic interactions with any sim or those particular sims. It's just even after they have ended their relationship it still shows the romantic satisfaction bar and they get sad when it goes down now

    @Gizale123 What do you mean by romance satisfaction bar ? The satisfaction is a state that only shows in the profile. Do you mean that gets worse over time ?

    Starting to wonder if we mean the same thing. Could you maybe add a pic ?

    Hello, yes sorry I meant it keeps going down from very satisfied to satisfied hopefully my camera quality isn't too bad

    @crinrict do you think the best solution would also be deleting one of them and re uploading them or do you think it has to be both deleted

    @Gizale123 Not sure really what's the best course of action. You'll loose relationships and family tree connections if you delete one of them so it depends what's more important.

    If you upload both to your library for testing and then redownload to a new save (same household so they keep relationships), does the issue persist ?
