Scout Badge Issue Still Present?

I'm still having problems with the scout badge system. It's opening properly, but badge progress isn't getting recorded and no matter how many required actions I do I still can't collect any badges. 

DLC Installed: most, just missing a few kits. 

Modded: yes, all up to date, tried 50/50ing script and tuning mods. No dice. 

It looks like most other progress recording areas in the sims, such as aspirations and job tasks are not working either. 

 

So either my save is just trashed and I need a new one, or this bug is fixable and Sims team is still working on it.

    unfortunately the issue is with things that have counted in the past. like the kid's activity table or the art easel. donating things is grayed out on the computer, and it doesn't count through the mail box currently either. the issue is with stuff that should, and did work.

    the may update I believe. maybe it's just my game struggling???

    If you haven’t already done this, try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.

    How long has this been going on? And how does that make you feel?

    I haven't worked on a scouting badge since March, but I've been doing career tasks and haven't had a problem lately. I was working on an aspiration last week and didn't have an issue with that either.
