Sim 4 Money Disappearing?

Hello, recently I've noticed that multiple of my families have lost money? I have a third generation family that had nearly 900,000, however when I logged on today they only had 33,000. Additionally, another household had 300,000 but now only has 26,000. I haven't spent the money at all, and I have no idea how it disappeared. It's frustrating because I built up the money over 3 generations! Does anyone know why or how I can get the money back?

  • @jessicagoodchild  What platform are you playing on? IE: Console or PC?

I know people were reporting similar bugs relating to change in funds or money loss on the sims 4, but they updated and fixed the bug or bugs on one of the PC patches. I am not sure if they have fixed it yet for console, as some console players were still reporting similar problems.

If you are playing on PC, do you have any mods or custom content installed that could be causing this glitch?

It is very well possible it is an actual glitch and you may have to wait for it to be patched.

  • This has started happening in my game recently and I see this original post is from 4 years ago. I don't know what is going on, but I have played 2 different households and it's a little less than 35K in simoleons that goes missing weekly. They don't have children. They aren't on child support. One was in an apartment. The other household lives in a house. There is no notification that lets you know why the money has been subtracted like it would do if it's bills or something. It's driving me crazy and although I do the money cheat to get the money back up, I need to know why it's happening at all.
