Sims 4 Community survey 1-15-2020

So, a community survey went out on 1/15/2020. I thought this was great that EA/Maxis is looking to refresh the packs, especially the older packs. I have some thoughts on three existing packs and a wish list for a new pack that I hope the developers will consider.

I really hope that the first Game Pack: Outdoor Retreat is refreshed to include:

• The ability to place food & fish in coolers. 
  Fish deteriorate so fast. Would be great if Sims could put fish in coolers to keep them fresh. This also mimics real life. The same with food.
• Trails in the National Park and around the campground.
  Have easy, moderate and difficult trails for sims. This would make it easier to walk through the park and campgrounds to collect insects and herbs for herbalism. Often when a sim is on a nature walk or jog and I see insects or plants and stop them to collect it. They don't continue in the same direction when I have them walk/jog again. They will often turn around and go back in the same direction they came from. Which makes it difficult to traverse the entire park. (this works for Jungle Adventure too).
• Birdwatching/animal watching.
  In the Sims 2 Free Time or Bon Voyage bird watching was added to the Sims. Camping is the perfect place to look for birds and other wildlife. 

Refresh Island Living:

• Secret underwater lot for Mermaids
  There should be a secret lot that only mermaids can access and whoever they invite. This can be the mermaid home world.
• Mermaids should be able to use the bathroom in the ocean.
• Mermaids should be able to fulfill hunger in the ocean by eating fish.

I also would like Get to Work refreshed: 

1) add some of The Sims 3 features to aliens:

• Female alien sims can impregnate their husbands when they try for a baby
• Repair Broken Objects
• Summon Meteor - and eat them
• Sell Alien Secrets - combine this with StrangerVille Military career
• Alien Brain Power - Restore their brain power and levitate

2) enhance the retail store

• Set open/close hours and days of operation
• In The Sims 3 your could own a business and not have to be there daily to run it. Would be great if you could own a retail lot and hire someone to run it daily and when you are not on the lot the store will still open for set business hours you established. This will make it easier to manage a family and a retail business.

Add a new venue/lot type - House of Worship

Please add a House of Worship stuff pack. I miss the Houses of Worship that are in Sim City and Sim Societies. I would really like to add faith to my game play.

The Stuff pack can have:

1. New Lot Trait House of Worship -- customizable lot that you can make look like your preferred faith and include symbols from major world religions as well as a plumbob symbol for folks who want to create a custom religion. Sort of like how you can create custom clubs with Get Together
2. New clergy garments that reflect the major world religion folks designate for their House of Worship, along with some generic ones that work with the plumbob symbol
3. Faith Leader aspiration that a Sim could choose -- or -- like in Sim Societies have random NPC sims pop up preaching around the world, sorta like in City Living where folks have speeches for their causes
4. NPC ministers/clergy who show up at the House of Worship lot and give sermons/messages.
5. Sims would automatically come into the House of Worship and sit down and enjoy the message/sermon or fall asleep until the message is over.
6. Sims would perform acts of charity - this can be rabbit hole acts of charity, but count towards character development
7. Would be great if there was a new active career and the sim could choose the House of Worship to work from. --Or-- just a new skill where they do acts of charity to increase the skill.

Just a wee optional stuff pack.

I know some simmers object to having faith in their game as some simmers object to having occults in their game. By adding faith to a stuff pack this allows simmers who are interested in adding faith to their game that option, but those simmers who don't want faith do not have to purchase the SP.

If you have doubts about a House of Worship stuff pack, do a survey and ask Simmers if they want faith in their game.
