sims 4 game locks up when sim goes to universiy

Three times now, my game has locked up and I have to force quit when trying to send my Sim to University. It lets me chose the school and curriculum, pay, and choose where to live. But when I click OK, it freezes on the loading screen and has be force quit. Is this a known bug or just my system? I removed all mods and it still did the same thing.

I rebooted my computer after removing mods and the cache file, repaired game again, and now it works. Who knows what it was.

@wildwingsuz Did you delete your localthumbcache file after removing mods/cc ?

Does it happen on a new save as well ?

Thanks for the tip. I removed the cache file, started a new save with a new Sim and... it did the same thing. It's being repaired by Origin as I type. Any other suggestions? I appreciate your help! I had hoped that this was a known bug with an easy fix but no such luck, eh?

@wildwingsuz Haven't seen any other reports but everyone is busy with the pie menu bugs.

Currently don't have time to test this, bit swamped.

Maybe someone else can jump in
