The sims 4 should bring back the newspapers, burglars and carpool/cars. I also feel like it would be a great idea to be able to have family members/ friends/ or even neighbors babysit your kids when your away. Maybe they can make a babysitter game pack or something?
@njozefowicz97 , many people want burglars to be brought back, along with police (not counting the ones in Get to Work).🙂 Newpapers might not be in high demand since many younger players don't remember a time when the daily newspaper was a thing in real life. But I do miss hearing the paperboy whistle as he delivered your paper in the game, especially from the Sims 1! 😉
Cars are a bit trickier. There isn't much point in having cars in a world that isn't open (like The Sims 3 was) but the developers have stated that an open world isn't possible in TS4 due to the game engine not being able to handle it. They could give us cars like they did in TS2, where you still get loading screens, but you just drive in and out of the driveway, or woohoo in the car, or fix up an old run-down car to sell for a profit.😎 The only problem with that is that while some people would be very happy with those types of cars, others think that if we get cars, it would automatically mean we would get an open world. I've seen a good many people ask for cars because they don't like loading screens. But the only type of cars we could have in the game would still require loading screens, so many people would be very disappointed.
However, I think it would be easier if they brought back the carpool. But it is hard to please people and some people would still want their own cars in the game.
I like your idea of having friends babysit.💡 And I think a lot of people would enjoy a babysitter pack!🥳 It would probably be a Game Pack.
These are all things I am not a fan of it but if it makes players happy, I am all in. I think ever player should get something what he truly wants, and I hope the team will make much player happy. (I get happy with vampires, spellcaster and now werewolves and a little disappointed with mermaids)
Just a little to burglars: They can make this, but I want a lot-trait which I can add so I get never robbed. I modded these things out of my older sims game, but now we have console player, and they can’t just mod it out. I don’t want the same problem as with the goofball trait. Every week I read somebody complaint because of prank toilets (I can understand this. Sims pranks her own toilet if they live alone with autonomy on – really the smartest sims I ever see *<- I mean this only a little sarcastic*)
@daikoyu , that is how I felt about laundry. I didn't want it, but I was very happy for the other players that did want it, and there were a lot of them! 😂 Hopefully they will one day add Fairies! 🧚♀️🧚♂️ And I agree with you on the Mermaids-- their design was wonderful😍, but their gameplay is a bit lacking. 😕
You have a great point about the need for getting robbed to be a Lot Trait (or the need not to be robbed could conversely be a Lot Trait). That is one thing I do love about the laundry pack is that if you don't put the washers/dryers/hampers/tubs/clotheslines on your lot, then you don't have to worry! 🥳 I really wish they had done that for the Bust the Dust Kit! 😓 Dust should only appear if you buy a vacuum or hand vac (and they should have included a broom and dust pan for Off the Grid lots! 😔 )
