Sims 4 Plan Outfits Not Working

Hi there, when I select Plan Outfits at my dresser, it brings me to the plan outfits menu with the buttons on top and on the bottom, but my Sim does not show up and the option to "plan outfits" does not exist. 

Not sure if this is some kind of problem others are having. 

I have tried 5 separate times, restarting the game and my mac. I also tried to start a Brand New Game and in the Build A Sim, I am having the same issue, 

It is funny because the Sim still makes noises and talks when you hit the arrows for them to turn around but they are nowhere to be seen. 

PLEASE HELP. It is annoying not being able to change my new kid's clothes. Their outfits are weird.
