My sim will do everything else that I tell her to, but for some reason when it comes to watching tv, she just wont do it. I click on it. it appears in the queue section and then it disappears. I have to continuously click on the TV to get her to watch it. It is extremely annoying! Has anyone else ever had this problem and know how to fix it?

I play PS4 & have had a few tv related issues myself. Could your problem be any of these?
I've used bb.MoveObjects to place a tv on a surface that does not actually allow a sitting Tv. The EcoLifestyle tv doesn't slot to many things & this has been a problem for me so I move it to appear as though it is on the surface when it is not. When doing this however Sims cannot actually reach the Tv to upgrade it or to do the Work Out interaction from Fitness Pack. I have to go to the build & buy move the tv to an open area, go back into live mode upgrade the tv, then place it back to where it was via the build & buy. If a sim places an object on the surface like say a plate or clay lump the tv occationally just won't work at all because the game thinks the objects are intersecting.
Is the Tv sized up or down? I've used the large tv from City Living this way for tight spaces sizing it down & occationally it just breaks usability with the sims.
If you aren't using Move Objects or sizing the Tv in any way have you tried deleting then rebuying the tv just to see if a new one also has this problem?
