@LovleyJay Is just the family missing or is other stuff different in the save game ? Could it be a new one instead of the one you were playing with ?
That one family is missing and the other stuff appears to be the same. I often go in between manage worlds playing different families in one game and saving in each of those households. Is that why happened? I was able to recover an old save but it didn’t have any of the changes with any of the families.

Did you recover one of the automatic backups or a backup you had ?I was able to recover a save from a day ago. I played with multiple families saving in each household. I don't understand the saves thing much. I loaded sims tonight, the same issue. Clicked play on that particular save took me to the last city I played in, San Muyshino, but the family that disappeared was in Brindelton Bay.
