sims cancelling every command

One day my sims just randomly stopped listening to me. They cancel every command I tell them to do and I have tried everything to fix it. I deleted mods and downloaded newest versions, I have made a new sims family, I have removed previously downloaded custom content, I have repaired my game twice, I have deleted and reinstalled The sims 4 and yet nothing is working. I'm getting really frustrated after all the money I have spent on this game.
