Sims Can't Put Food Away in the Refrigerator

I've been having issues with the Simple Fridge as well. Has anyone else noticed that they will put ice in, and then sometimes food will still spoil immediately afterwards? I've had my sim put ice in three times at one point and had to remove three foods that had just instantly spoiled. I'm talking like back-to-back too. Not throughout the sim's day. I think right now my fridges are fine. I'm having issues with sims glitching though.
Actually, I did A LOT more research on my issue, thinking it was related to the Cottage Living lots. Mine seems to be related to my BUILD in general. I have put up a bug report and am waiting for any response there.
